I’m a Badassery and Weight Loss Coach.

I tried loads of different eating styles. Sometimes I exercised until my knees hurt to burn off the extra calories. When I got into university, I started noticing how naturally thing people seemed unbothered by the presence of sugary treats. It was like they didn’t notice when food was around.

 

Me, on the other hand was going wild whenever something I thought I “shouldn’t” be eating was put in front of me. I wanted to eat all the time, but most of the time I was not actually hungry. It just seemed like my brain was in high drive to get me to consume more.

 


I would eat, then feel tired. I slept alright but rarely felt rested. It was a slow process of discovery for me, but I eventually learned that I was hungry because of how my body interacted with my mind because of the hormones I was releasing.

I learned about this in my undergrad, Exercise and Wellness and started feeling so much better. I was not terribly overweight, but when I learned how to reset my hormones, I noticed immediate shifts in my energy and ability to manage my hunger with less stress.

I lost the last 12 extra pounds I had to lose relatively easily- and have been able to keep it off. Sure I gain some back sometimes during the holidays, but its not a big deal now like it used to be because I KNOW how to lose it again.
